There are a lot of words to learn and keep track of when it comes to gender and sexuality. Getting comfortable using these terms helps us talk more openly about important topics.

The truth is, gender, sex, and identity are so complex and fluid that everyone’s definitions may be slightly different. As we understand more about gender and sexuality, new terms emerge!

Please note that language is always changing so this is a living glossary of terms that is updated.
